He describes taking a maximum dose of LSD one night with a doctor friend who wanted to experiment with him because he was mystically inclined; Aldous Huxley was to have observed but was sick, two others taped their reactions, the friend went into convulsions and childhood while Neville got only distortion of the senses, and driving home and shaving next day everything was scattered.
