Winifred MacCardell Flood, D.D., died January 15, 1987. A memorial service was held January 31, 1987 at 2:30pm at the Winter Park Church of Religious Science, 3425 Forsyth Rd., Winter Park, Fla., officiated by Dr. Roy Graves. The obituary lists her education (Holton Arms School, Rollins, Oberlin, ordination at Unity Village, Doctorate of Divinity from the College of Divine Metaphysics), a 25-year speech-teaching career with her husband in New York City and Winter Park, classes in Spiritual Science in Atlanta and Dover, Delaware, and residence for a time in San Diego with her son Cameron MacCardell. She was a trustee of the Murphey School in Dover, Delaware and a lifetime member of INTA and the Winter Park Church of Religious Science.
