Cast members from the play 'Oh Millie', directed locally by Walter Lanyon, travelled to Pittsburg, Kansas to help stage the play there on a Wednesday night, for a benefit sponsored by the Knights and Ladies of Security in Carney Hall. The travelling cast was Mrs. W. R. Isbell, Edna Lautaret, Gladys Jeffries, Homer Counts, Lloyd McKinney and Norman Nordin. Mrs. Isbell gave the same reading there that she had given as a special number at Monett, and was presented a bouquet of carnations. The clipping's OCR gives a ticket price of '$125', which is likely a misread but is not corrected here. The home-run clipping (4259) names Lanyon as the play's writer as well as its director, and gives its full title as 'Oh, Milly, Wait a Minute', staged for the Security Benefit Association / Good Fellows Christmas fund.
