During the lecture itself, a woman in the audience told Neville a dream she had had, in which she was discussing this same teaching with others -- how imagining a state produces it in the world, and how nothing in that world truly dies. Neville asked her to write the dream out for him, and used it on the spot as a living example of the principle he was teaching that night.
