Before the birth of a boy who would grow up bearing his name, Neville had a vision in which the not-yet-born child -- appearing as though about four years old -- stood before him and introduced himself as Neville Mark, saying he would arrive on the 10th of November. The next morning Neville told his wife, who was not herself pregnant, that a boy was coming on that date, and the child was in fact born as foretold. Years later, at about five, the boy told Neville he felt he was only wearing a mask and looked forward to death, when he could turn and see his true identity -- a remark that upset his wealth-anxious mother.
