Neville says he was pleasantly surprised that day to read, in the religion section of Time magazine, that Catholic scholars were releasing a new, modernized Bible translation. One scholar, criticized within the Catholic press for it, argued that the more literal rendering of the resurrection from the Greek was not 'he is risen' but 'he has been raised' -- a distinction Neville affirms as correct, and ties directly to his own teaching that spiritual awakening is a being 'raised' out of the tomb of one's own skull.
