Neville announces to the audience that his friend Freedom Barry -- whom he had persuaded some eight years earlier to begin teaching this work in San Francisco -- had come down about ten days before this lecture and spent a couple of days with them. Neville arranges for Freedom, who now lives in Cambria, to give a free monthly talk locally on the third Sunday of each month at the Woman's University Club, and has his wife pull a couple hundred names from his mailing list to help announce it.
