Two months before this lecture, in August 1966, Neville had been so gravely ill that, as he puts it, no insurance company would have given him a week to live. He recovered and describes himself, at 61, feeling as strong as he had twenty-five years earlier, framing his return as necessary so that he could still tell others of the revelation he had received -- that the risen Christ awakens within every person, making each hearer, in truth, the Father of the biblical David.
