The Saturday night before this lecture, a friend in the audience gave Neville permission to tell, from the platform, a story he had been holding back until he had the man's consent. The story concerns a moment when the friend's brother, having killed a man in a moment of violence in New York while Neville was away in Barbados, was urged home by their mother; guided by a vision telling him to find Neville, he reached Neville by phone the moment he returned, and Neville simply declared, "It's done!" Two weeks later the mother called to say the brother had been set free.
