Neville's father entered an icehouse partnership on Broad Street, selling imported block ice.
Place: Bridgetown, Barbados
Person: Joseph Nathaniel Goddard
A separate, heavily garbled clipping (titled in curation '...the legacy of Old Joe, July 1978') describes an elderly man -- presumably Joseph Nathaniel Goddard -- in his accustomed spot at the entrance to the Goddard family's 'Broad Street store', greeting friends and passers-by and holding forth on a wide range of topics; the OCR breaks off mid-sentence and no date is independently recoverable from the body text.
