A woman told Neville about a dream she had the Friday night before this lecture: she found herself in a huge outdoor crowd on a grassy hillside, where a man preached from an open Bible. When someone in the crowd challenged anyone to disprove his knowledge of scripture, she rose and, quoting Matthew 22:42-45, explained to the crowd that Christ is the Father and David the Son, in fulfillment of scripture. She woke in the silence that followed her statement. Neville reads the dream as a sign that the Word has become fully 'quickened' within her, close to erupting into realization.
