Neville tells of an argument years ago with his aunt Maude, his father's sister, a lifelong member of The Brothers: he told her the Bible says Jesus had brothers, she nearly struck him, he had her fetch her own Bible and read Mark 6, and she slammed it shut, rushed to her bedroom and never came out, unchanged to this day in her nineties.
