Neville recounts that as a boy of seven or eight, an old Englishwoman told him at Bathsheba, a windswept area of Barbados, that he would one day do something men would discuss for centuries, would be the first in his family to marry, and would have two children; she also foretold he would leave his home of Barbados to live in a foreign country. He states that he left Barbados in 1922, returning only for vacations, and offers this along with his marriage and two children as the three smaller prophecies that came true, taking them as proof that her larger, unexplained prophecy would come true as well.
