Neville tells of an experience from many years earlier in which he relived the crucifixion by fulfilling the 42nd Psalm: hearing a voice in the depths of his own soul proclaim "I am God," he became man. He frames this as timeless rather than historical -- the crucifixion did not occur in 1 A.D. but "in the beginning of time" -- and connects it to the 82nd Psalm's declaration that those in the divine council are gods who must die to become man. He adds that 139 days after this awakening, God's son David revealed him as Father, the same marker he uses elsewhere for his 1959 mystical experience.
