Neville recounts a vision in which he saw his mother, alive and restored to youth in Barbados, and wrote at once to his sister Daphne saying their mother had recovered. Daphne instead sent a wire saying their mother had died, and a week later wrote a letter with the details of her passing - a passing that, Neville says, coincided exactly with the hour of the vision he had had two thousand miles away in New York. He offers the story as evidence that the dead are not resurrected but restored, appearing as their younger, healthy selves.
