The Wednesday before this lecture, Neville went looking through an old Bible of his for a Kabbalistic interpretation and, tucked among its leaves, rediscovered two long-forgotten letters from his mentor Abdullah, given to him back around 1930 or 1931 and now molding and falling apart. He reads from their instruction on the Cabala, noting he likely has another two or three dozen such letters buried in other books somewhere.
