Neville describes a vision of David -- the eternal, beautiful youth he identifies as the person of Christ, his own son -- appearing to him with the severed head of Israel's enemy lying on a table before him, recalling the biblical David and Goliath. He insists the entire drama unfolded exactly as he now recounts it on the morning of 6 December 1959, and that the story was revealed to him directly rather than something he had ever been taught.
