Neville recalls a stay of four or five months in Barbados with his wife and young daughter, roughly 15 to 20 years before this telling. There he met a British Army major (Major Morrison), stationed in Trinidad, who was enthused by Neville's ideas about the Law of God and introduced them to a retired chemistry professor -- an avowed agnostic/atheist who insisted everything in his life had to be proven.
