In 1611, Shakespeare's play The Tempest appeared in the same year as the King James Bible's English translation. Neville recounts this in his 28 May 1963 lecture "Jesus Only", recalling a debate from his theatre days in New York in the 1920s-30s over the true authorship of Shakespeare's plays, in which someone brought him The Tempest and pointed to its 1611 date -- the same year as the KJV -- as part of an acrostic argument for a hidden author.
