Neville lays out his personal spiritual awakening as a sequence of exactly datable events: his own Resurrection took place on 20 July 1959, followed by his Ascension into heaven on 8 April 1960, and finally a 'Seal of Approval' -- the descent of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove -- on the twelve hundred and sixtieth day after. He insists the whole sequence can be counted precisely, unlike scripture's round figure of forty days between resurrection and ascension.
