Neville recounts being 'called' in 1929, not understanding at the time what the experience meant, and says it took thirty years of inward preparation -- 'like a gestation' -- before the same indwelling presence fully unfolded within him in 1959. He describes this culmination as finally recognizing who that presence was and realizing they were one and the same: 'there were not two of us then, just one.'
