Seven, the Sabbath, is mental stillness: the state in which one, having assumed the wish fulfilled, is completely unmoved in the conviction that the thing is and can go to sleep unconcerned. Keeping the Sabbath is this rest, in which circumstances remold themselves to the assumption.
