Teaching pattern
Discipline the mind as one would a diet: prepare its garden with good reading, music and ennobling conversation, watch one's thoughts through the day as their policeman, refuse unlovely conversation and gossip, and think on whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report (Philippians 4:8).

Own wordings
Spend some time daily in preparing your mind by reading good literature, listening to good music and entering into conversations that ennoble
you become the policeman of your thoughts
Refuse to enter into conversations that are unlovely, refuse to listen attentively to anything that tears down
Listen only to the things that bring joy when you hear them
All the things that are lovely, that are of good report, ride these things, and have no time for the unlovely in this world
We have to go on a mental diet, for a week we must completely change our mental food
We become the embodiment of that which we mentally feed upon
Feast on the idea, become identified with the idea as though you were already that embodied state
And gradually I become what I feast upon
Feed the mind with premises
As a man imagines so is he
