Mark 5:1-15 read psychologically: the naked madman living in the cemetery is the man who lives in the dead past; the tombstones he hides behind are the prejudices, superstitions and false beliefs he keeps alive by hiding them from reason, and the devils he begs Jesus (enlightened reason, fourth-dimensional thinking) not to cast out are those same beliefs. No prejudice can live when held up to the light of reason: cast out, the devils destroy themselves and he sits clothed and in his right mind at the feet of the Master, understanding.
