John 5:2-9 read psychologically: the pool is one's consciousness and the angel that troubles it an idea or desire; the first one in is healed, and no one can enter before you, since only you can say 'I am' of yourself. Assume you already are what you want and you are in the pool; unaided you rise, take up your bed and walk, on the Sabbath of stillness.
