Matthew 22:11-13. The man who comes to the feast without a wedding garment is the clever pretender who practises externally what he does not believe internally: he appears good, uses the right words and believes nothing. The wedding garment is the desire for union with what one teaches; without it, in the strong light of those more conscious, he can no longer deceive.
