One can think about a thing forever and never meet it, but once one feels its reality one is bound to encounter it, the sooner the more intensely one feels. Feeling is not only the result of our conditions but their creator (we are well because we are happy); an idea that is only an idea does nothing, it acts only when it is felt. So feeling is the secret of successful prayer: feel oneself into the answered prayer, watch one's moods and reactions, and guard one's feeling above all in the act of prayer.
