Genesis 49:11, Judah who 'washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes', his eyes red with wine and teeth white with milk, joined to the purple robe placed on Jesus and the amethyst, the twelfth stone. The garment is what a man wears mentally: living by the truth, hearing only good news for others, weaves a wine-coloured robe, an aura by which the awakened recognise one another and in which one can function on higher levels. It is the wedding garment.
