Blake's line as Neville gives it: God enters death's door with them that enter, and lies down in the grave with them, in visions of Eternity until they awake. The God who became man does not stand outside man's death; he goes the whole way down into the grave of the human state and sleeps there, dreaming eternity, until the man he became awakes.
