When the door is opened, twelve crystals begin to vibrate in what is called the pineal gland - twelve translucencies through which the Christ spirit shines - and the whole thing gives just as if the child were being born in the physical sense. Then one can stand no more and is pushed down to the floor; one cannot get any lower, and that is what the manger symbolises. Out of the brain of man comes the Christ Child.
