Neville reads the promise as the dream itself - could you now dream of being the man or woman you want to be? That dream is a promise - and the giving of glory as refusing to credit anything else. He was not swerved by anything in the world. If we could imagine anything and not swerve and not turn, and give all glory to this power called God, nothing could keep it from coming into being.
