A man whose child was being brought up by his wife's sister had tried for seven years to get far enough ahead to make the trip to St. Louis to see her. He kept trying to see himself getting a job with more money so that he could afford the journey. He was told that by the right use of the law he should see only himself with his child and leave the way to God. Following that, he was given a job that took him from Los Angeles to New Orleans - not near St. Louis at all - and he took it and persisted in the dream; within three months he was transferred to the St. Louis run and given a twenty-four hour layover there every week.
