Taken in the spirit into a divine council, a divine society, some thirty years before this telling. The first to meet him is the embodiment of infinite might, seated in a chariot to which is hitched a marvellous pair of beautifully harnessed horses. He has eyes of steel; he looks at Neville eye to eye and not an nth part of love comes from that face - no mercy, no tenderness, just sheer power, and Neville hears his thoughts as he thinks them. Then he is taken into the presence of infinite love, and stands before Christ Jesus and communes with him. The question comes: what is the greatest thing in the world? Neville answers in Paul's words - faith, hope and love, these three abide, but the greatest of these is love - and at that moment he is embraced and becomes one with infinite love, a joy and peace and mercy he says he has never otherwise known. While in that embrace a voice comes out of space and he is back before infinite might, who sends him home with the command: 'Time to act.' He identifies the charioteer as Elijah, and reads the harnessed horses as the mind disciplined and directed but not yet tempered by love.
