A piece of rabbinic periodisation Neville uses to place the technique in time. Two ages are discussed in the Bible, this age and that age (Luke 20:34-36), and the two are separated by the act of resurrection. Around the resurrection, before and after, lies what is known as the day or the days of Messiah, characterised as good days, joyful days, the days where you can reap the harvest - and Neville identifies them with repentance, that is, with the exercise of imagination before one is fully awake. At 1984 the same period is described from the other side and the identification is made explicit: the good day is when man discovers his own creative power and uses the Messianic power, because there is only one power and Messiah is your own wonderful human imagination; before you are born from above, before your resurrection, before the temple is split from top to bottom, you are free to exercise the Messiah - and these are the good days, when a man can create without consulting any person in this world and without pulling wires. The frame matters because it gives the technique a dated place in the scheme rather than making it an alternative to the birth: the days of Messiah are a real harvest, and they are still on this side of the wall.
