Neville's own account of where his central sentence comes from, stated plainly at 1108: he took the words 'whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you received it, and you will' and put that same statement into our modern tongue in these words - imagining creates reality. So the formula is not a philosophy he devised but a translation, and the argument that follows from it is about belief rather than technique: hundreds of millions of Christians repeat the verse and give it lip service, and the world will repeat the modern form too and then do everything but imagine the solution - they never imagine the end and lose themselves in the end. NOTE FOR THE ATTACH LANES, AND PLEASE HONOUR IT: the bare sentence 'imagining creates reality' occurs in more than a hundred lectures. It is the name of the teaching, not a discriminating phrase, and a motif that swallowed every occurrence would be useless. Attach only where he does something with it - identifies it with the gospel verse, argues that lip service is not belief, or draws the consequence that a man who believes it cannot worry (which is its own motif). The bare sentence used in passing is not evidence for this motif.
