I’ll give you a story. Seventeen years ago, I gave a Bible class in New York City. I give them here, but this was seventeen years ago. A couple flew in, or rather they came in—whether they came by plane or train, I do not know—but they came in from San Francisco. Checked in at the Plaza Hotel, where they had a suite of rooms and lived there for six weeks while they came to my Bible class. That’s not a pretty penny, may I tell you, when you check into the Plaza and take a suite of rooms. I learned afterward that they had nothing but money. They were millionaires on both sides; they had no children, were fabulously wealthy, and had this huge apartment in San Francisco up on Nob Hill. And then they had eight acres with the most fantastic home, which I saw on many occasions, here in the Holmby Hills. And so money meant nothing to them.138 ¶19
