She does what she calls “homework.” She keeps my book The Law and The Promise at her bedside. The word Promise means nothing to her…it frightens her. What I have told you tonight is the Promise. It’s the law that interests her, and there are forty stories on the law. She reads and rereads…she’s memorized them. She does what she calls her homework, so every night before she sleeps, she takes an objective, for her husband in business, her children in work and school, herself, and she goes over this in her mind’s eye until it becomes objectively real, and then she sleeps. She takes her Imagination and works it to the point of vision and falls asleep.292 ¶37
