Both have had the experience of the birth from above, both held the child in their arms, both had witnesses to the event. The one in Sausalito heard the voices coming from behind and they said, “He is born” and he walked off into space holding the Christ child in his arms. The one here, it came out of the same way from the forehead as it did my friend in Sausalito, right through the forehead; and he caught it, and held it in his arms as he walked up the stairs of his home. He heard the laughter behind him from the workmen getting ready to work. They were witnesses to the birth.302 ¶20
