He called me when we just got into the house back from Barbados, before he was taking off for New York City, and when he told me the story I said, “Forget it! It’s done!” God is infinite mercy…nothing but forgiveness of sin…I don’t care what a man does. When the Spirit of Christ is formed in you, you forgive everything in this world. There’s nothing you don’t forgive, I don’t care what it is. The most horrible thing in the world you forgive it. He hardened Pharaoh’s heart not to let his people go. How can you condemn Pharaoh? That is the story. And so I said, “It’s done!” and he and I over the phone heard each other, his request and my bold assertion, “I have heard it, it’s done!”362 ¶22
