Like my friend who said to me a few weeks ago, “Is it necessary?” I assured her it was, it was necessary. She was lying prone on a hospital cot and I was the surgeon—it’s a spiritual surgeon.—and then I assured her it wouldn’t hurt. She wasn’t quite sure she was ready for it, but she said, “I’ve always believed you and believe you implicitly. Without any doubt whatsoever I believe you.” When I assured her that it would not hurt, I took, she said in her symbolism, an implement like a comb, a silver comb, and the teeth were simply like needles. It seemed a cool brushing on her body. Then when she said, “I’m ready now,” then she realized it was all done. The implanting took place.397 ¶19
