She said, “I found myself in a group of people”—and it’s a vision—“I felt unlike anything I ever felt before, and coming out of the blue were bolts of light coming directly at me. I must confess I felt a little bit afraid. I was a bit startled and a bit frightened. Then suddenly I began to feel what I had never felt before, a power, a strange, strange power. In this power I felt I could have stilled the universe. I could have made everything stand still. I felt so powerful. Before me stood a man dressed in black, and he was the personification of something that humanity, including myself, but humanity has feared through the ages. He was the embodiment of everything that would be something to fear. And then my memory began to return and I knew that he came into being when I lost my memory. He was there, but as my memory returned he was now on the very verge of demise, and he knew it. My memory had not completely returned but enough to bring him to an end, and that he knew. He didn’t want to lose his power which was a power usurped from me when I lost my memory.”606 ¶14
