But whether it is a chronologically true story or simply the individual’s experiences woven beautifully by the poet, for these were poets who wrote the gospels. As someone once said to me, I think it was Huxley, “There are three kinds of writing: there is journalism, there is literature and there is scripture.” The greatest writers of the world considered the giants in literature can’t write scripture. He himself admitted “No I couldn’t write scripture.” It’s something entirely different.606 ¶34
