Then she said, “I found myself”—and this is not a vision, this is a dream—“I am listening to a woman talking who is supposed to be a teacher, a teacher of the law, and she is ranting against Neville; that she does not believe in the Promise, she believes in the law but not the Promise, and Neville is insane, he is too far out.” Then said this one who had the dream, in the dream she turns to the woman teacher and said to the teacher, “Do you believe that imagining creates reality?” and the teacher replied in the most affirmative manner yes. “Well then,” she said, “that proves itself. How would you feel now if you should begin to imagine that you are God?” and with that she screamed and jumped and said, ‘You should be in the same institution with Neville.’” “You admit by word that imagining creates reality; well then, can you imagine that you are God?
