Now, here is another beautiful one. She said, “I found myself in a beautiful forest and here I am sitting on the ground leaning against a tree. Then I heard a voice calling, ‘Father, Father’ and I did not answer because I did not want to be discovered. Suddenly a youth appeared dressed as a shepherd boy, and it was you. You said to me, ‘Why did you not answer me? I’ve been searching and searching for you.’ Then she said to me, “You’re always searching for me, but you always seem to find me in spite of the fact that the Good Book tells us that after my labor I should rest on the seventh day. But you never let me…you’re always calling and you always find me…so you never let me rest.” Then she said, “I looked at you and I smiled the smile of an indulgent father, and then strangely enough, I, a woman—and I consider myself very much a female—felt that I was the Father. It didn’t seem strange to me to be a father. I was not a mother, and I was not a female, I was Father.”768 ¶5
