And I can’t tell you my thrill when I get letters from you quoting scripture. If you don’t actually quote scripture, your letter is simply one hundred percent scripture. Now here is a letter from a young lady…she’s still in school, she’s majoring in music, and she wants to be a composer, that’s her ambition. In her letter to me, which she gave me last Friday night, she said, “I have a very dear friend of mine, he’s much older than I am and I’m very fond of hm. I wanted to give him something very, very special for his birthday, which was last September”…which was really this month but a couple of weeks ago. “I didn’t know what to give him. I didn’t think it had to be something material; it could be something that I said, something that I did of which he would be proud…or it could be material. I was dwelling upon what I could give him when I fell asleep. At two AM in the morning I woke with this vivid memory of what I had dreamt. I dreamed that I was sitting on my bed and in my room were my mother and father. Mother was in front of me and father to the left. My father spoke and said, ‘Well, here are three records. You may keep two and give him the third, and he will so love it he will play it over and over. He will never tire of playing this record.’ Then a sheet of music was given to me and the sheet of music was the sheet of music from which the record was made. I noticed that the composer’s name was Elam.’” She spells it E-l-a-m. Then she said, “I noticed that the title of the composition was ‘Christ.’” You could not in eternity grow tired of the mystery of Christ.869 ¶16
