Then she said, “In July, I was fully awake, not a dream. I sat down to rest after dinner and thought of you. I knew when you left here in March on the way to Barbados, and that you said you wouldn’t return ‘til the fall of the year. So I took it for granted you were still in Barbados and wondered how you were. Suddenly you are standing before me. You seemed in excellent health, dressed in a grey business suit.
