So when you give to one that you have elected your own immortal eyes so that she may become the incurrent witness and turn inward into the eternal worlds, into these infinite states, then she brings back. She’ll bring back and bring back and bring back forever, for her eyes were gifts from the risen Lord, and she will see eternal worlds. And she will bring back all the things, whether she understands them or not, she’ll bring them back. She turns them over to me and I’ll interpret them for her. For, she was given these immortal eyes, and yet the gift did not leave the giver without eyes…and they were not loaned, they were gifts; and yet he kept the eyes that he gave.964 ¶38
