One night at sea in 1946, sailing from Port of Spain to Mobile, Alabama, he was lifted up, heard a heavenly chorus singing "Neville is risen", found himself clothed in a body of light gliding past an infinite sea of blind, lame and maimed humanity who were made perfect as he passed, until the chorus cried "It is finished" and he condensed back into his body.
