In the early thirties Neville saw in vision a glorious heavenly woman and, below her, a hairy monstrous creature that called her its mother; he beat it and it grew stronger on the violence, until he recognised both as his own creations, pledged to redeem the monster, and watched it dissolve and its energy return to him.
