He dates his own course: in 1946 the transforming principle happened to him, and on the morning of April 8, 1960 his temple was split from top to bottom and he moved up in serpentine form into Zion; in the fourteen years between he simply believed in the reality of his imaginal acts, and about ten percent of those helped wrote, called or came to tell him it had worked.
